Foster McMullen
Foster is the founder and president of Music Masters. He is also one of our guitar teachers. He is the guitarist for the band Big Hairy Monster and he also plays guitar in the City Church band in Warner Robins. He has three children, and one of them works here with him! Foster enjoys spending his free time playing shows, practicing with his band, and hanging out with his three grand kids, his children, and his wife.
Foster is available Monday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday.

Mike Robinson
“Krazy” Mike is one of our guitar teachers. He is a 64-year-old veteran, and he is the father of one, grandfather of two, and godfather of three. He enjoys golfing and teaching guitar, but especially teaching guitar. His favorite band is The Sons of the Pioneers. Mike always has a joke or a pun ready for you, and he says that “Man cannot live by bread alone, you must have peanut butter!”
Mike is available Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.

Shelby Lasater
Shelby is 22 years old and has been playing guitar, bass, piano, and ukulele for over 10 years. He has been teaching lessons with us for the past 2 years; Shelby specializes in beginner and intermediate acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, as well as beginner piano and ukulele lessons for students of all ages. You can also find him at the store throughout the week working the counter or working with our repairs.
Shelby is available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Saturday.

Erika Chambers
Erika is our violin and piano instructor. Having attended Hochstein and Eastman School of Music at a young age, Erika grew to have a love and passion for teaching others what she has learned.
Erika has taught locally for years, and has played for a number of churches and local events. She enjoys making a special connection with all of her students.
Erika teaches a number of different violin and piano methods to suit each students best interests.
A fun teacher for the young ones. Making music fun is her goal! She teaches Suzuki and classical violin.
Erika is available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.

Donovan Marlin
Donovan is our drum instructor and has 15 years of drum experience. He is 23 and over the past 4 years has taught and is still teaching in multiple high schools in the area; he also has 7 years of marching band experience. He graduated with an Associates Degree in Music and Technology from the Atlanta Music Institute. He still plays shows regularly in the area and is looking forward to teaching his students all that he has learned throughout the years.
Donovan is available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.

John Phillips
John Phillips offers lessons and coaching on drums, bass, keyboards, guitar, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, accordion, and general music theory and composition. John has been working in music for 25 years. He's taught public school band, toured and performed and recorded with professional groups from symphony orchestras to country bands and everything in between, including a decade teaching lessons and consulting at Music Masters. Keaton Byrd
A summa cum laude graduate of Mercer University’s Townsend School of Music, Keaton Byrd has served as a music educator in the middle Georgia area since 2017. Classically trained from the age of 6, Keaton is a talented multi-instrumentalist, teaching piano, bass, guitar, trumpet, voice, and ukulele to his 40+ students at Music Masters. His expertise is in classical and church music performance and composition.
Keaton tailors his teaching to the individual needs of his students, and has seen his many students flourish over this last half-decade’s time, with a number of them having gone on to study music at the collegiate level and to serve in local church and school bands, where they continue to excel.
Keaton is available Monday, Tuesday, Friday, & Saturday all day.
